Starring Ralph Fiennes, Adrien Brody, Jeff Goldblum and Jude Law, The Grand Budapest Hotel tells a story of a legendary concierge and his lobby boy at this renowned hotel. In the 1930s, the Grand Budapest Hotel is a popular European ski resort, presided over by concierge Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes). Zero, a junior lobby boy, becomes Gustave’s friend and protege. The second date in our ‘Music & Movies: The Connection’ festival, Enchanted Cinema in collaboration with repmusic presents Baz Luhrmann’s modern and typically eccentric double Oscar winning adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s, The Great Gatsby. Midwest native Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire), arrives in 1922 New York in search of the American dream. Nick, a would-be writer, moves in next-door to millionaire Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) across the bay from his cousin Daisy (Carey Mulligan) and her philandering husband Tom (Joel Edgerton). Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the wealthy and as he bears witness to their illusions and deceits, he pens a tale of impossible love, dreams, and tragedy. “This is fantastically enjoyable, and a blast. It is wild and rampant and thrilling.”- Deborah Ross, The Spectator repmusic prides itself of providing the highest level of live music performance, in London and across East Anglia.
